I have to give a shoutout to the folks who worked on Spotlight 9.2. A lot of the issues I was having with previous versions have been fixed but I found the bulk add process works brilliantly and that's what prompted this post. I was able to add 70 SQL instances (for new servers we're moving to) all in one shot and it even recognized the Windows machine they should be tied to for monitoring. That just saved me a TON of work and time and for that I am appreciative.
The one feature that needs to be added (or actually put back from my understanding) is the ability to select the Enterprise View as the default view when opening Spotlight - that is the view I find most useful and it would be great if that could be done. Also, being able to tie Spotlight directly to Foglight Performance Analysis (so it just clicks through to it) would be fantastic.
But keep up the good work! If anyone else agrees or has other kudos to add please do so.
