SQL Agent - Jobs Failed alarms reappear

Hi, when I see a failed job alarm such as a nightly backup failure, I go into the server and fix the issue.  Next I click acknowledge in Spotlight to make the alarm disappear from the alarm list.  A few minutes later, Spotlight refreshes and the failed job alarm is back in the list.  How can I acknowledge them in a way that keeps them out of the failed job list until the jobs run again?
